Several forms of tax assistance are available to individual taxpayers.- Montana Customer Service Center at (406) 444-6900 offers assistance Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (MST), except state holidays. Trained customer service representatives will provide information and answer any tax-related questions you may have.
- Walk-in assistance is available at the department's main office on the third floor of the Sam W. Mitchell Building in Helena. Simply stop by during normal work hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except state holidays) and a tax specialist will help you.
