When you efile, your birthdate and other infomation acts as a signature. It is very important to keep copies of your forms for your records. Generally, you will keep a copy of the TC-8453 (signature form) for you records. In certain instances, you are required to mail it in with supporting documentation. Click here to see if you need to send in a signed TC-8453.

For you federal return, you will have the option of using a PIN priogram to act as your signature. If you do not choose to or do not qualify for this program, you will need to mail in Form 8453-OL. This form will be listed for you to print to sign and mail in if necessary.

OnLine Taxes will provide these forms along with your other forms for you to print and keep for your records.
