Premkumar John
President Premkumar John has more than 14 years of experience developing software and hardware systems. Prior to joining On-Line Taxes.com in 2002, he served as an application developer, team leader and technical architect at Cerner Corp., a leading supplier of information technology to the health care industry. At Cerner, John played a role in the development of several key products including electronic medical records and medical imaging software. John earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering and computer science from the Regional Engineering College in Tiruchirapalli, India, and his master’s degree in computer science from Oklahoma State University. Bill White, the founder of On-Line Taxes.com, had more than 25 years of experience in technology and accounting. White began his career as a computer programmer, working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and IBM, the world’s largest technology company. He later earned a degree in business administration and his CPA license. In 1988, he founded William White, CPA, an accounting firm that served individuals, small businesses, government agencies and not-for-profits. In 1999, White combined his computer and accounting backgrounds for another entrepreneurial venture, On-Line Taxes Inc. at www.olt.com, an Internet tax preparation site that has enjoyed exponential growth rates in each of the past ten years. White served on the Internal Revenue Service’s Taxpayer Advocate Panel. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Computerized Tax Processors.
