On-line Filing using PC tax filing software allows you to file your IL-1040 electronically using department approved commercial software or web-based applications. OnLine Taxes is an approved provider for PC file.

If you receive an IL-1040 booklet in the mail, you will need to use the Illinois Personal Identification Number (IL-PIN) located on the label on the cover of your IL-1040 booklet. It is available January 14 through October 17.
