What is the Idaho Election Campaign Fund?

The Idaho Legislature established this fund to provide financing for qualified political parties. If you want $1 of your income tax to go to the Idaho Election Campaign Fund, check the box beside the party of your choice. If you are filing a joint return, your spouse may also designate $1 to the same party or to a different party. If you check “No specific party,” the amount will be divided among the parties by a formula prescribed by law. This will not increase your tax or decrease your refund.Back
