Premkumar John, President

Premkumar John is responsible for the Web site’s infrastructure, security and development. He oversees the 30-member development team and makes sure the Web site’s software and hardware run smoothly.

John has more than 10 years of experience developing software and hardware systems. Prior to joining OnLine-Taxes.com in 2002, he served as an application developer, team leader and technical architect at Cerner Corp., a leading supplier of information technology to the health care industry. At Cerner, John played a role in the development of several key products including electronic medical records and medical imaging software.

John earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering and computer science from the Regional Engineering College in Tiruchirapalli, India, and his master’s degree in computer science from Oklahoma State University.

OnLine Taxes mourns the loss of company founder William "Bill" White Jr. (1944-2005)

Bill White, the founder of Online-Taxes.com, had more than 25 years of experience in technology and accounting.

White began his career as a computer programmer, working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and IBM, the world’s largest technology company. He later earned a degree in business administration and his CPA license. In 1988, he founded William White, CPA, an accounting firm that serves individuals, small businesses, government agencies and not-for-profits.

In 1999, White combined his computer and accounting backgrounds for another entrepreneurial venture, On-Line Taxes Inc. at www.olt.com, an Internet tax preparation site that has enjoyed exponential growth rates in each of the past four years.

White served on the Internal Revenue Service’s Taxpayer Advocate Panel. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Computerized Tax Processors.
