 IL-PIN Limits
Taxpayers will find their Personal Identification Number (IL-PIN) preprinted in the blue area at the top of the personalized label on the cover of the Individual Income Tax Booklet.

Taxpayers must use their IL-PIN to file their 2003 return electronically.

If you do not know your IL-PIN, you can get it on the Illinois website by using the following link: Illinois Pin

OR call the tax information line at 1 800 732-8866 to see if an IL-PIN has been assigned to your social security number. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
