Individuals who file an individual income tax return and have overpaid their tax (are due a refund) may choose to donate all or part of their overpayment (refund) to the below listed organizations. Enter the portion of your overpayment you wish to donate. The total of all donations cannot exceed the amount of overpayment (refund).
Enter the amount you wish to contribute to the START Savings Program. Important: You or your spouse (if filing a joint return) must be a registered account owner in the START Savings Program in order to contribute any part or all of your refund. If you are not an account holder and wish to enroll in this program, you may contact the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance at 1-800-259-5626, ext. 1012 or through their website at www.osfa.state.la.us. All contributions made by means of your refund will be equally distributed amongst the account holders beneficiaries.
