The credit for preservation of cultural property is 50% of the costs of a project for the restoration, rehabilitation or preservation of cultural property listed on the official New Mexico Register of Cultural Properties. Attach the Historical Preservation Division Certificate and Form PIT-4, Preservation of Cultural Properties Claim.
A husband and wife who file separate returns may each claim half the credit that would be allowed on a joint return.
